Levels One & Two – Screen Acting

In two terms students are introduced to acting for screen techniques which have been developed and established by leading professionals of the television and film industry.

Students will learn the differences between stage and screen acting, understanding both the demands and requirements of the camera and how to utilise techniques learned to produce a completely truthful and organic on-screen performance.

Our class format enables students to develop at their own individual pace, in order to develop a solid foundation in acting for television and film.

Acting classes cover a vast range of skills and techniques required for on-screen acting, including scene work, improvisation, cold reading, audition technique and camera work.

Students completing Level One and Level Two are eligible to enrol on the Advanced Screen Acting course.

Levels Three & Four - Screen Acting

This course is available to all students who have completed our Level One and Level Two programmes.

Students work to further develop and enhance their on-screen acting profile, working on advanced scenes and perfecting their individual performances.

Opportunities to audition for both feature films and short films (including the BBC Film Network, BAFTA and the Cannes Film Festival) being shot on the Island will be offered in conjunction with the Island’s sole casting agency ‘Ex-Isle‘.
